Once upon a time, we spent a few days in a world where the sun shines deep into humans heart and roses grow on stone walls, where children still play l-spy in the cobbled alleyways or play the kites in the rice field, and only two crooked roads meet each other to mark this vintage village on the global map.
Skirting its dusty boundaries, there’s another world, one that’s roaring and fast, where one is spoiled for choices by the sheer abundance and transience of everything, where self-obsession is confused with passion.
But come back we had to this glitzy world because this is where our lives are. This is where we have to swim with and against the tides to make something of the madness we all inhabit.
